Love stayed, Life moved

i didn’t realize when things changed.

like… nothing actually broke, nothing got worse, nobody became distant. she’s still the same...my sisterrrr....i loveee her...she loveesssssss me more than anything......same laugh, same way of talking, same “i’ll always be there for you” energy. aur main bhi wahi hoon. but still… something feels different.

I guess it’s because now she lives so far away. abroad....and also shaadi ke baad waali life is different...like we don't force that change lekin it just naturally happens and woh ek universal truth hai...that happens to anyone and everyone and phir ek time aayega when these few days, these small visits… they’re all we get.

you wait for them. you imagine them. you think this time we’ll sit properly, talk like before, do all those small stupid things again....yeh one sided nahi hai...the other person will also feel the same..

but when it actually happens… it’s not the same.

not in a bad way. just… not the same.

earlier, everything was so easy.

we didn’t have to plan anything.

“coffee banaye?” meant right now.

“chal bahar chalte hai” meant 5 minutes mein ready ho jao.

random talks, random fights, random scooter rides… sab itna normal tha.

now it’s like… time is always in the background.

there’s always a “she’ll leave soon” sitting quietly somewhere.

you can still sit together, laugh, talk… but that old waali feeling? that complete, thoughtless comfort?

thoda sa missing lagta hai.

and i think that’s what hurts a little. not because anything is wrong… but because you can feel the difference.

like how can someone still be yours… and still feel a little out of reach?

i know i can call her anytime. text her anytime. she loves me the same, maybe even more.

but it’s not about that.

it’s about the small things. the unplanned ones. the ones you didn’t know would become rare.

and now when you meet, you try to hold onto everything a little tighter. you notice more. you feel more. and still… it feels like not enough.

like time slipped somewhere in between.

and i know this is not just me.

everyone goes through this at some point.

people don’t leave you… life just rearranges them.

they get their own spaces, their own routines, their own lives. and you’re still a part of it… just in a different way.

and shaayad this is what growing up  looks like.

not big heartbreaks. not loud endings.

just  chotu changes.

where love stays the same…

but the way you live it changes.

and you don’t fight it.

you just… learn to sit with it.
