Ruko Thoda, Life Will Fix Itself
You know, sometimes I sit and think, what the hell am I even doing? Like, everyone’s busy running on their perfect life track, and here I am, still figuring out if I want coffee or chai first thing in the morning. But honestly, that’s the thing about life .... it’s not a checklist or some neat little box you tick off.
Self-discovery is this weird, messy journey that no one really talks about properly. It’s not like one day you wake up and BAM, you know exactly who you are and what you want forever. Nah, it’s more like peeling an onion ... yeah, it makes you cry sometimes, but you gotta keep peeling if you want to get to the core.
Some days I feel like I’m the boss of my life, all confident and sure. Other days, I’m a complete mess who’s googling “how to adult” and pretending I got it all together. And you know what? That’s 100% okay. Because nobody really has it all figured out, even those people who seem like they do on Instagram.
It’s crazy how sometimes the parts of yourself you like the least are the ones you have to learn to love the most. Like, my anxious brain that won’t shut up or my tendency to overthink literally everything. I’m learning to stop fighting those bits and just say, “Hey, thanks for showing up, now chill a little.”
The biggest lesson I’m slowly getting is this... life isn’t about rushing to find yourself or fixing yourself. It’s about showing up every damn day, being curious about who you’re becoming, and forgiving yourself when you flop. Because we all do. We all mess up. And that’s where the growth happens.
So yeah, if you’re lost or confused or just plain tired of pretending you’ve got it all, trust me .... you’re not alone. We’re all figuring it out in our own weird ways, and that’s perfectly fine.
At the end of the day, the most important thing is to be kind to yourself. Even when you don’t feel like you’re enough, you are. You just gotta keep peeling that onion, babe .... tears, mess, and all.
