Mental Shanthi Is A Myth Babe

Today was one of those iconic episodes of my life’s daily sitcom jahan kuch bhi sense nahi bana. I woke up with big dreams of being productive ... you know, like those aesthetic Pinterest girls who do yoga at sunrise and drink detox water. Cut to reality: I woke up at 9:42 am, stared at the ceiling like a retired philosopher, and questioned every life choice I’ve ever made.

I thought, “Okay let’s salvage this, at least make chai.” First attempt: boiled over. Second attempt: tasted like guilt and tap water. Third attempt: finally drinkable but by then I’d already lost the will to be human. Sat on the bed, holding the cup like it’s my emotional support animal.

Meanwhile, my hair decided to cosplay as a confused cactus .... one side straight, one side curly, and one random strand floating in the air like it’s searching for WiFi. Outfit ka toh pooch hi mat. I looked like I was dressed by a toddler playing dress-up during a tornado. But it’s called fashion, look it up.

I tried being mentally strong and opened my to-do list. Read it, closed it, and proceeded to stare into space for 15 minutes straight. Existential crisis? Check. Sudden urge to change my entire life and move to the hills? Double check.

Music started playing automatically from my phone ...some old Bollywood love song...and boom, main ban gayi background character in a Karan Johar movie, except mujhe romantic moment nahi mila... sirf kitchen sink ka leak mila.

Also, had one of those “do I need bangs or a vacation?” moments. And you know you’re not okay when you're considering both equally dangerous options. Decided not to cut bangs… for now.

And you know what’s wild? No major breakdown happened today. Just a lot of internal screaming, passive aggressive snack-eating, and scrolling through memes I didn’t laugh at but saved anyway. Emotional stability? Not here, babe.

Anyway, I survived the day. In mismatched socks, undone laundry, and a heart full of "yeh kya chal raha hai meri life mein?"

See you in the next chaotic update of “Main aur meri mood swings,” where the plot thickens but the chai thins.
